Playgroup Feb. 11th-Valentines Cookies

For playgroup this week we were invited to the Colunga's house to decorate Valentines cookies. Once again Zander and Camden were able to come along, thanks for all the fun times, we are sad Rachel had to go back to work today, we will miss you at playgroup. After cookies Aunt Rachel took a great picture of the cousins!

Playgroup Wed. Feb 4th-Children's Discovery Museum at Gateway

Aunt Rachel and Cousins Zander and Camden were able to join us for playgroup at the museum. We all had a great time, even Zander managed to have a good time despite the "scary" helicopter. Blake was happy as long as he could find a ball or anything that looked like a ball, pineapple, potato, cabbage, etc. Tavia of course had a great time, how could she not with so many little friends to boss around. The best part was Tavia drowning and then smashing the baby doll in the water works exhibit, don't worry she was just "giving the baby a bath".

"My Moms a Sweet Adeline"

Christan's mom belongs to a singing group called the Sweet Adelines and we love to give her a hard time about it. It is a barber shop style singing group full of lots of really old ladies and a few young ins like my dear mother-in-law, they really get into it especially the choreography aspect, we like to tease her and call it the sunshine generation. Due to our endless harassment she proudly presented her children with Sweet Adeline t-shirts, unfortunately they were Tavia sized shirts, but that didn't stop Molly.

Blake's First Birthday

He made it! The first year had a few scary "medical moments" and 3 too many hospital stays, but thankfully many more exciting memories. Blake has proven to be a fighter not only in his own health, but also in his own safety as he day after day survives his Big Sister. Happy Birthday Squeak, we love you!
